I have successfully installed for Samsung J7, SamsungA7 (2016), Pionee P3, Seatel, LG, Xiaomi. All have no MHL support.

samsung j7 and A7 I used in this video now have no images, dark screen, still touch, install only once. When I want to use it, I just plugged the cord into the phone, switched the TV channel to HDMI and waited for 30 seconds. Use a Bluetooth mouse.

This device is a direct cable, not a USB via wifi.
