The BRUTAL Executions Of The Contest To Kill 100 People Using A Sword

During the Second World War, there were a huge number of war crimes and atrocities committed by the different armies involved in the conflict. Thousands were committed by the Japanese Army, and there was a sick contest allegedly participated in by two Japanese officers who attempted to have a race to execute 100 people using a sword first. Before the war had even broke out in Europe, the Japanese caused chaos around Nanking and killed up to 300,000 people. But Toshiaki Mukai and Tsuyoshi Noda agreed to the contest to commit horrific war crimes, and its alleged that they used their swords to kill dozens.

On the route to Nanking, the pair allegedly killed dozens with their swords and most of these were civilians and not members of the Chinese military. But two newspapers then ran the story about the contest, and people across Japan would read of the contest. It was even allegedly extended to kill 150 people with the sword as they lost count, however after the end of the Second World War the two men were brought to trial. They were extradited to China where they were then sentenced to death and executed for their involvement in the contest. There has been doubt whether the men committed scores of war crimes with their swords, and some do doubt the numbers killed and also whether it happened. But what isn't disputed is the fact Toshiaki Mukai and Tsuyoshi Noda were both executed.
