VSDC Video Editor Tutorial – The Best FREE Video Editor (2020)

In today’s tutorial, I am going to be showing you how to use VSDC. In my opinion, VSDC is the best free video editing software available because it is a fully functional video editor that you can use and with no watermarks. VSDC is also a very lightweight video editor and has advanced features which I will be going over in this VSDC tutorial.

I will be teaching you how to use the VSDC video editor by making a Mini Cooper commercial from start to finish. In this VSDC tutorial, we will be covering how to navigate the editor, as well as add videos, images, text, and audio. Finally, I will also be going over how to split clips and add visual effects, transitions, and other modifications to your content so that it is ready to export.

Unfortunately, VSDC is only available on Windows which is why I didn’t cover it in my Top 5 Best Free Video Editing Software video, but I thought it was worth making a standalone video since VSDC is a great option for editing if you want a free video editor and do not have the most powerful PC. For a free tool, VSDC boasts a lot of advanced features such as color correction toolset, transparency effects, blending, Chroma Key, glitch, lens flare, and much more. Additionally, the pro version of VSDC is $20/year, so it is the cheapest editor if you also plan to upgrade in the future.

This VSDC video editor tutorial will be going over all the basics so that you can start making your own videos. I would highly recommend giving it a watch if you want a new free video editor for making videos as I think VSDC is the best free video editing software available for Windows.
