Restoration Old Dirty Frying Pan
Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project! I guess a many people remember my USSR Primus restoration, after that video I received a lot of comment about my old pan. Well, I hope you will enjoy this restoration video.
Restoration process:
I packed my greasy, dirty old frying pan in several plastic bags and wrapped it in paper wrap. Pre-filling 50 ml of ammonia. After 15—18 hours I opened the package and saw the result. The ammonia working very good with dirty frying pan. Then, I took a pot of 8 liters. If you have enamel dishes with such a volume-use it! I poured 7 liters of water. I poured 120 grams of soda and 30 grams of citric acid. I put the pan down and turned on the fire. Boiled on slow heat for 2 hours. Then washed under hot water with detergents.
After the small pieces I removed via knife, it's very easy way and started to use iron brush. When the frying pan was clean and light. I started used sand papers from 120 to 1000 grit. After I used polished stuff and began to make a handle. For handle, I used a piece of copper tube, one screw and piece of dry wood.
Via lathe wood machine I'm used a wood lathe, I cut out the handle, soaked it in wood wax, and set it on the pan. As usual made a test for you!
