McGahn Won't Say if He's Testifying Before Congress About Mueller Probe
Former White House Counsel Don McGahn declined to comment when asked on Thursday if he is going to testify before the House Judiciary Committee.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) has threatened to hold McGahn in contempt if he does not appear before the committee and comply with a subpoena requesting that he turn over documents related to the Russia probe. According to the final Russia probe report from Special Counsel Bob Mueller, President Trump had asked McGahn to remove Mueller but Trump recently said that did not occur.
