This DIY CO2 generator is made of thick white plastic bottles and small transparent plastic bottles. Large bottle are used to hold a mixture of water, sugar and instant yeast which will produce carbon dioxide as fermentation occurs, while transparent small bottle are used as filters as well as bubble counters.

I have tried this system several times and can produce CO2 more than 15 days if I set 1-2 bubbles per second.
