God of War is now on sale! The new God of War game for PS4, developed by Sony Santa Monica, is now available in stores around the world. It is a small detail for the fans that takes place in the early hours of God of War game. It is not something related to the plot or that bursts the evolution of events, but as we understand that there are people who prefer to discover it for themselves, we tell you right after the video that we leave below. God of War was consolidated in PlayStation 2 as one of the best games offered exclusively by the Sony console. The story of Kratos and the gods of Olympus, which had two installments in this console, ended on PlayStation 3, which would be added Ascension and two games on PSP. The new God of War is a point inside the franchise. History has changed completely. Nordic mythology brings us to a Kratos who has been the father of Atreus, and who will accompany us in our adventure in the purest Ellie style in The Last of Us. The Naughty Dog game went deep in the industry, making most studios want to aspire to games with greater depth and feeling, exploring the relationships between the characters so that the player empathizes with them even more than he does playing.

Another important point that changes is the progression system. In the previous deliveries we improved our weapons, health and magic depending on the orbs we got from the enemies or with collectibles. In God of War for PS4 comes into play the experience system that, broadly speaking, would enter to replace the orbs. As in other games, as we progress through the story we will unlock new skills, which we can then improve.

Something curious is that there will be characteristics or attributes (strength, runic, defense, vitality, luck and reuse). This is understood by the object system, which will include armor or shields that we can equip ourselves to improve. Despite this, there will also be hidden collectibles in the scenarios, which will provide us with an extra. Finally, something important is the fact that God of War is an open world, and not linear as we were used to.
