eToro has taken a lot of time to try to make its site as attractive and simple as possible for beginners to investing and trading.

The world of investing has traditionally looked a bit too complicated with its charts and difficult-to-understand terms... The new investing websites like eToro have had to find ways to simplify everything as much as possible and they've done a pretty good job at bringing in new customers.

In this video I take a look at eToro's homepage and go over some of the major menu items and where to get started finding our way around the site and seeing how all the information's organised.

What's a 'ticker symbol'? What are 'Watchlists' on eToro? What's our 'portfolio' in trading? I have a quick look at each one of these - we'll go over them in more detail in later videos, but for now, let's have a look around and get familiar with the site and the homepage.
