This video is the second part of serious of videos about geology and geomorphology in Alai Valley, Northern Pamir, and some recent studies there. In this part I talk about geomorphology of hummocks / chukuryi in the Valley, its exploration history, sedimentology and how to identify its origin. We looked at Koman rock avalanch hummocks, Achiktash glacial and Lenin rock avalanche hillocks.
This video is full of amazing pictures from the Alai Valley and I show all the discussed features using the GoogleEarth application. I speak with no notes and deliberately use simple language. My aim is here to make Science available for everyone. Enjoy and share!
