Gear Shifting - Short (or Momentary) Stops at intersections and for Low Speed Manoeuvres

Looking at efficient gear shifting when coming to a stop for a short time. (Task 5 in SA Driving Companion, Stop and Go).
Shows how to do it well plus a few "common" less efficient methods.
In this video we show 'best practice' gear selection and hand brake usage when coming to a stop then moving off again at intersections or when doing slow speed manoeuvres. We demonstrate best practice gear selection and hand brake use while doing a three point turn.
At the end we show a Stop and Secure (Prolonged stop) as in when you plan to park at the kerb.
