We started work on this early George III Bureau in the winter and as you can see by looking at trees outside it took us up to the end of March to finish it.

It does say on the film it took over 80 hours of work to finish but I think in truth it took over 100 hours. This is not an unusual experience for us, we will often go above and beyond what is expected of us and I hope this short film gives an insight into what it means to be a antique furniture restorer.

My thanks to our apprentice: Archie Newnham-Dibley for applying his previously learnt skills in film & media to produce this mammothian film.

Also my thanks to Will Arscott for all his hard work in restoring this oak bureau, also his guidance with the young bearded Archie!
