Under the Volcano
It was dreamed up 25 years ago - an idea to place live cameras and data recorders on the bottom of the ocean. Now, after decades of work, that dream of one UW professor is a reality. Scientists and researchers can now view and access data of activity on the ocean floor never before seen by the human eye.
