An Autistic Kid with Cerebral Palsy (Caused by a Common Virus)
Jocelyn was diagnosed with congenital CMV shortly after birth. This common virus infected her brain before her immune system developed. As a result, today Jocelyn is diagnosed with autism, cerebral palsy, hearing and vision loss. Jocelyn's family wants others to know that congenital CMV exists and it is possible to prevent further damage if diagnosed within the first 6 months.
