RV Tips and tricks Couch replacement in our Class C forester 3011DS RV Furniture upgrade RV

Paul Bates with another RV TIP, our couch that came with the RV was very uncomfortable so upgrading was are only option. In this video we replace our couch in our 2018 Forester 3011 DS. Some of the challenge was the short slide. Going into the project I had a plan A and a plan B.
Plan A we would modify the frame of the couch to fit the slide. After getting the couch I figured out very quickly that this would not work at all.
Plan B We would build a step up. This ended out working really well and gave us a bonus, you can also use it to access the cabinets above the couch. In the end it turned out perfect.
In the video I go over measuring for the new couch, buying the new couch on Amazon from Recpro. After that we remove the old one and install the new one. Then I build the step and install it.
