FINDING OUT I HAVE CANCER

I've missed you all! I've appreciated every direct message, phone call from those who know me personally, and supportive comments on previous videos.

I didn't know how to share my true emotions in this journey so far. My content is normally uplifting and joyful. However, I wanted to convey my true emotions because life isn’t always easy.

For the few people I’ve shared my diagnosis with I get one or two extremes of a response... the first is usually fear and pity.

The other is the “you’re fine” approach, while meant to be optimistic, can feel invalidating. Especially with me dealing with sooo much physical pain, and sleepless nights.

I've felt overwhelmed, scared, and even alone lately. All the while I’ve been grabbing the camera and documenting little moments of the beginning of my journey.

Hopefully my journey can reach others who need to see that they are not alone.
