This sector is known as industrial microbiology where we can genetically change microbes to produce a number of useful products. Everything from insulin, to supplements, to pesticides, and all sorts of chemicals. In this video, we explore the potential of industrial microbiology and how we employ microbial cell factories to support our everyday lives.
