Hundreds of Big Fish in Douro River, Porto, Portugal Rio Douro
In the River Douro, Porto, Northern Portugal, there are hundreds of big fish visible from the banks of the river running through the city. These fish are thick lipped grey mullet, which live in saltwater or brackish water and travel upstream from the sea to feed on plankton and footstuff dropped into the river by humans.
