3D Printed Drums - Marble Machine X #5

The track is the opening scene from the "Twinsters" documentary soundtrack that i composed a while back.

These are the newly designed drums that we will 3D print for the Marble Machine X! The opportunity of having two contact microphones in both kick and snare is fantastic, the possibilities to blend the sounds will make for a high chance of getting really good sounds out of these drums, the hihat uses one mic only.

Tobias has already started to print some of these parts and its the first time for me ever working with 3D printing so im learning from scratch and its so fun. Will test the sound of the drums in upcoming videos. Marius designed the top for the drums, looks like a spaceship, lightweight, using no more material than necessary.
