Marble Machine X Fish Stair Upgrade

Marble Machine X Daily #12 - Making Sure that the Marble Loop is mechanically stable.

Sub story of this video that I didn't manage to tell properly inside the video itself:

There is an anti-fragile solution to everything you have seen me battle with in this video:
- Skip the divide by four,
- route the marbles to the first step of the fish stair without constraining them, just an open marble canal, four marbles wide,
- at the bottom of the fish stair make a large "tray" like a bucket with deep walls,
- let the bottom step of the fish stair dig out the marbles from the bottom of the tray.

- It will be a little messy, sometimes two marbles will try to ride at the same time but they will fall off and into the tray again.
- Perhaps some steps of the fish stair will be empty when the marbles fought for the same spot kicking each other out.
- This eliminates the empty PMMA pipe timing issue with the marble getting stuck and allows the fish stair to run dry without mechanical issues.
- No need for the divide by four or even marble count across the four PMMA pipes leading into the fish stair.

The above solution is the Engineers solution, and I will fall back on that if the current tuned system ever shows another sign of malfunctioning.

Keeping the divide by four since it looks cool and seems ("SEEMS") to work right now is the artists solution.
Keeping a steady marble count is pretty simple ("PRETTY SIMPLE") once the machine has played for some time the marble count in the fish stair cue is very steady.
SUMMARY #1: This is the same kind of tweaking as before, and I am not proud about it. I do not trust any designs that need this kind of tweaking anymore. If I could make designs that didn't needed tweaking, now THAT would make me proud. Perhaps one day when I build a kitchen table or something. I am becoming more critical than ever, I started as uber-naive so maybe me cultivating a new uber-critic side is the light in the Marble Machine X Tunnel.
