‘Not national security, the economy’: What will ultimately ‘kill’ the Albanese government
Former NSW Labor treasurer Michael Costa says the Albanese government are “drifting” on a range of fronts, but their handling of the economy is what will ultimately lead to their downfall.
Mr Costa’s remarks came while discussing the government’s weakness around the area of national security in light of Saturday’s military incident in the Yellow Sea.
“I can’t stick up for this at all,” Mr Costa told Sky News Australia host Andrew Bolt.
“It’s broader than just national security.
“Since The Voice, this government is drifting on a range of fronts.
“I think the one that is really going to kill them is not national security, it’s the economy."
