‘Disgustingly weak on national security’: Penny Wong slammed for ‘not doing her job’

GXO Strategies Director Cameron Milner has slammed Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Foreign Minister Penny Wong’s lack of action over the Chinese chopper incident.

A fighter jet from the People’s Liberation Army-Air Force dropped flares in the immediate flight path of an ADF Seahawk conducting routine operations off HMAS Hobart in the Yellow Sea on Saturday night.

It has since come to light no government minister has attempted to contact China.

“Penny’s not doing her job is she?” Mr Milner told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“Penny’s sort of doing a whole load of other things to cause distraction from the core issue which is that we have a near miss.

“It’s the nothing to see crew.

“Albanese and Wong are so weak, so disgustingly weak on national security.

“It’s terrible to watch.”
