Anniversary of KGO-TV, San Francisco, 40 Magic Years, from May 5, 1989

May 5, 1949 was the debut of KGO-TV for the San Francisco Bay Area. This two-hour show (which was cut-short) covers the highlights of the station's first 40 years, with film clips and studio appearances of those that contributed to the success of this ABC-TV owned and operated station; hosted by the station's GM & VP, Russ Coughlin, and TV reporter/anchor Jack Hanson.
