Basic Vehicle Automatic Antenna Wiring Diagram

Antenna starts in the down/retracted state.
When vehicle turns on, power flows to the antenna but nothing happens due to antenna being down and the down limit switch is off/open.
Green wire is energized with positive voltage, when the radio is turned on.
DPDT relay turns on and polarity is reversed.
Antenna starts to go up and the down limit switch is released.
Antenna reaches full extension and up limit switch is depressed.
Green wire stays energized, so does the relay.
Radio or vehicle is turned off, Green wire is no longer energized and the relay turns off, polarity returns to normal and antenna goes down.
Antenna still has power from the battery.
