Corvette Power Antenna vs Universal Power Antenna

The purpose is to show that while the way they work is the exact same way, it is wired different. While the Corvette has the polarity changeover relay external, the Universal (non control board) antenna has the relay internally or external mounted on the mast tube.

If you are going to use a universal power antenna in a Corvette, you will need to bypass the relay that the Corvette comes with.

If you want to use the original Corvette antenna but can't find or don't want to pay the cost of a OEM relay, you can use two Bosch style relays instead.
