Highly flexible AGV solution in truck cabin production

Every 8.9 minutes a finished vehicle rolls off the production line at the Mercedes-Benz Türk plant in Aksaray. In order to meet the quality requirements and the variant diversity in truck production while at the same time adhere delivery times, Mercedes-Benz Türk always keeps its finger on the pulse of the times and relies on the most innovative technologies. Therefore autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs) from KUKA transport various truck cabin parts through their truck cabin assembly line. These omnidirectional, mobile platforms of type KMP 1500 connect individual assembly sections for a maximum of flexibility and free navigation.
