Smart and precise LBR iisy cobot application: 3D vision bin picking

In cooperation with roboception and SCHUNK, KUKA is presenting a machine tending application based on a 3D vision bin picking use case. In developing the new LBR iisy series, our experts are drawing on 50 years of technology knowledge in robotics.

The 3D bin picking is realized with a rc_visard camera from roboception, while the SCHUNK double gripper picks up the components reliably and the robot then places them into the CNC machine. With the partnership of roboception and SCHUNK in the Robotic Republic ecosystem, KUKA offers a perfectly coordinated solution.
