Apple Watch - In Touch with Notifications

In this video tutorial we show how to customize your notifications so that you are at one with your Watch, and always in touch. You will learn how to customize your Watch Notifications, what haptics are and how to adjust them, how Notifications work in conjunction with your iPhone, and how to set up Notifications in the Watch App on your iPhone. This video also covers: turning the ringer off, DND, theater mode, alert volume, silent mode, haptic strength and prominent haptic.

There are three main types of Notificaitons on the Apple Watch: rings/bells, haptics and pop up alerts. Rings and pop ups are the same as your iPhone, but what are haptics? Haptics alert you to certain notifications, for these the Apple Watch will tap your wrist using its haptic feedback hardware, dubbed the Taptic Engine. These alerts feel like literal taps on the top of your wrist and are much different feeling than traditional vibrations. Different apps have slightly different haptics - so you always know what is alerting you without even looking at your Watch!
