Toru Oikawa was a third year student at Aoba Johsai High serving as the captain and setter for the school's volleyball team. He is the main antagonist of the Interhigh and Spring High Preliminary arcs.

In the final arc, he became the setter for Club Atletico San Juan, a professional team in the Argentine Volleyball Federation. He became a citizen in Argentina and plays on the Argentina National Team as their starting setter.

To be honest, when I was planning my budget for this new hobby, I told myself before that the only nendoroid I'll buy in the Haikyuu line is Oikawa. He was the first and ultimate character in the series that I both love and hate at the same time. His character is so relatable!

I love how he is both confident and hard-working at the same time and that he knows what he wants but it hurts when I reached the part of the series where his team lost during the Spring high prelims. I really thought that that would be the last volume/panel where he'll be shown.

Ahhh the list of reasons why I love his character is endless! Specially during the Brazil/timeskip arc! I actually think that Furudate sensei likes Oikawa so much that he still included him on the final arc and giving him such a grand exit!

Anyways..........

I still have a long journey to go to complete the Haikyuu nendo line 😭 and right now, I'm only waiting for Kenma so that my pretty setter squad'll be complete 🥺 i have more nendos to unbox but they're from a different line, can't wait to unbox them(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)
