The Russian Quarter of Seoul

Located near the Dongdaemun History and Culture Park and known as the 'Russian Neighbourhood' or the 'Central Asian Neighbourhood/Street', there's a high concentration of immigrants from the post-Soviet area (mostly from Russia and the various -stan countries, with a good portion of them being ethnic Koreans) and Mongolia.

It's a great place to go if you want to experience authentic Eastern European/Central Asian cuisine (there's a huge amount of Russian supermarkets and restaurants). There's also various offices that offer help with immigration and visas, although most of them cater primarily to Russian and Mongolian speakers.

It's a slightly run down area, but very homely and welcoming. You're always bound to meet a lot of foreigners here from all over the world.
