TEDx Shaftesbury Youth is a biennial event that is part of a global conversation on personal empowerment that takes place every day, in every corner of the world. We are here specifically to celebrate the power of Youth Voice. The speakers were all aged eighteen and under and joined from many local schools as well as all corners of the globe. Speakers from the UK are joined by children from Taiwan, India, Singapore, and Australia who spoke on behalf of themselves and their communities on issues that matter. The young people are courageous advocates for the pressing issues of our times, from the slow violence of climate change to the rapid rise of AI. We hope the ideas shared from the event will find new life in the hearts and minds of others. From this event, we hope that the voice of youth will resonate far and wide as a result, inspiring a legacy that will promote enduring change and encourage more children to take to a public platform in the future.
