Drinkable ocean water, supercapacitors, bionic human, and space elevator. I am not talking about any science fiction movie. This technology is fast approaching thanks to the invention of the thinnest, strongest, and most conductive material. Graphene, discovered in 2004, had been hailed as "the material of the future". Since then almost disappeared without a trace leaving behind a lot of disappointment. Why do scientists face so many inconveniences when it comes to mass-producing graphene? When and where are we going to use it in our everyday life? Hi, my name is Marianna i am 16 years old student at Czacki high school. Maths and Physics are my realm of interest, especially topics which are more down to earth than abstract. I've always preferred to stick to what's logical and that's why i have chosen science.
