Swiss Music Box with Pressure Harmonium
I bought this box two days ago at the AMICA convention. It played very slowly and the harmonium barely played at all.
I cleaned it and lubricated it and sealed several cracks in the bellows that were leaking.
The comb needs to have new dampers installed (that’s the odd squeaking noise you hear) and I’ll eventually tune the reeds to even out the celeste.
