This talk explores barriers first-generation college students face, and how all students, first-generation or not, may experience these types of struggles. This event will explore what the specific barriers first-generation college students face, and how all students, first-generation or not, may experience these types of struggles. Problems and potential solutions will be presented in the talk, and then attendees will be tasked to create their own solutions in groups. They will then be asked to reflect on what they learned and to share their thoughts with others.
