Who Were The Force Sensitive Stormtroopers And What Happened To them?

In the Mandalorian TV show, it is made very clear that Baby Yoda has become a figure of great interest for the imperial remnant, most likely due to the possibility of cloning a force sensitives. In legends, force sensitive clones were seen on several occasions, including during the early imperial era. Soon after Order 66 and the birth of the Empire, Darth Vader authorised experimentation into the production of force sensitive clones. However, Vader was well aware of the danger that this could pose to him and the emperor and so desired an extremely loyal template to mitigate the risk posed.

A suitable genetic template soon presented itself in the form of Dark Jedi Sa Cuis. Cuis had been hired by Palpatine to assassinate Vader as part of his training for the Emperors hand. Vader of course overpowered him. Although Vader had already deduced that it was in fact Palpatine who sent him, the dark Jedi refused to admit this. Although this eventually led to the Dark lord executing Cuis, he respected his sense of loyalty to the Emperor, believing he would make the perfect clone template.

Using the advanced technology of the Arkanians, the Empire was able to produce 6 force sensitive clones in just under a year. After their training by a dark Jedi named Sheyvan on the planet of Yinchorr, these clones were presented to Darth Vader and Palpatine, who were impressed with their skills with a lightsaber and their ability to use the force. They were so impressed in fact, that the Emperor ordered a whole battalion of the force-sensitive clones and even considered cloning an entire army of them.

However, the army of force senstive clones was not to be. Their dark Jedi trainer Sheyvan had become enraged at the discovery of the other dark Jedi, seeing this as a great betrayal by the Emperor. He had secretly trained the cuis clones to be loyal only to him and saw this gathering as the perfect chance to kill both Vader and Palpatine. The force sensitive clones soon took over much of Palpatines Imperial shuttle, overpowering many of the regular storm troopers. The Cuis Clones and Shevan soon engaged Vader in combat but none could defeat him. With the aid of flamethrowers, Vaders Lekauf clones insinerated four of the Cuis clones with the dark lord himself cutting through the remaining two himself. Vader then engaged Sheyvan himself in a duel, soon overpowering him.
The force sensitive clone project was cancelled although Palpatine remained open to the idea in the future. Vader became much more hesitant, believing that dark siders were naturally inclined to overthrow their masters. Although he was later forced to create more force sensitive clones of the powerful force user Starkiller, this too proved to be a nightmare for Lord Vader and so by the time of the First Death Stars completion, he had completely abandoned the idea of force sensitive clones.
