The Portuguese Indians of East Africa (East African Asians)

In this short let's briefly discuss the Portuguese Indians, mostly Goan Catholics that settled in East African nations like Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania and Uganda during the colonial period in the region and became extremely successful, although this left them the target of a multitude of xenophobic attacks at the mercy of the new African governments once the European colonial powers left, leading the vast majority of the community to have fled after the 1960's.
