Architecture Theory: Powell Chapel

This film was made as an assignment for ARCH 630 Theory of Architecture at the University of Kansas School of Architecture and Design. Please enjoy!

The Powell Chapel, designed by E. Fay Jones is a prime example of architecture that looks to nature for inspiration. Therefore, it was our choice to analyze it for the purposes of our assignment.

Special thanks to my teammates, Jon Veirs and Rachel Grace who worked with me to produce this film, and special thanks to the staff at the Powell Gardens for working with us to make this project happen and providing some additional footage.

Music was selected from the works of Fran Soto who generously allowed us to use a few of his tracks from his Yggdrasil album in our film. You can learn more about Fran Soto and his amazing work or listen to his music here! - - - https://fransoto.bandcamp.com/album/yggdrasil
