Unboxing the Vivo V23 Pro and the standard model, comparing their camera tech, gaming performance, specs and other bits of these slick 2022 smartphones. The Vivo V23 devices launched at CES, boasting impressive optics and mid-range specifications - full review of the Pro model coming soon! But are these two of the best affordable camera phones around, rivalling the Pixel 4a and 5a?

While the original phone sports a 64MP primary camera sensor, this is boosted to a 108MP shooter on the more expensive version. Both mobiles serve up a 50MP dual selfie cam however, with flash support for night photos!

The Vivo 23 Pro offers some other specs upgrades vs the standard smartphone, including a Dimensity 1200 SoC for improved gaming experience. Battery capacity is slightly increased and you have a bigger HDR10+ certified display.
