Unboxing Xiaomi's Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G, the global edition of its upper-mid-range smartphone boasting 200MP camera tech, impressive gaming performance and 120W battery charging. Those specs are insane, although the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus does suffer from old software.

This affordable blower boasts premium hardware including Samsung's HPX camera sensor, which can take impressive low light photos. The Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G also offers a full gaming mode and can play Genshin Impact on higher graphics settings like the Realme 10 Pro Plus (another Dimensity 1080 smartphone).

As for battery life, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus' 5000mAh cell seems to last all day with 120W charging to power back up in just 20 minutes from empty. Very impressive stuff outside of a flagship phone. However, while the specs are great, the Android 12 software and lack of long-term support means you may be swayed by the Samsung A54 5G instead.
