„Europa. Deine Sprachen.“ Slowenien und seine Mehrsprachigkeit.

Mit der Übernahme des EU-Ratsvorsitzes am 01. Juli 2021 ist Slowenien nun nach Deutschland und Portugal in die dritte und letzte Runde der trinationalen Präsidentschaft gegangen. Mit dem Motto „Gemeinsam. Europa wieder stark machen.“ begann im zweiten Halbjahr 2020 mit Deutschland die Trio-EU-Ratspräsidentschaft. Slowenien setzt diese Idee fort mit dem Motto „Gemeinsam. Widerstandsfähig. Europa.“ und rundet damit gleichzeitig den Bogen der trinationalen EU-Ratspräsidentschaft ab.
Anlässlich des aktuellen EU-Ratsvorsitzes Sloweniens beleuchtet die Konferenzserie nun ab-schließend das EU-Land Slowenien in seiner Besonderheit und als weltoffenes, gut gebildetes und wirtschaftlich stabiles Mitglied der Europäischen Union und geht mit einem Blick auf die Mehrsprachigkeit und ihre Bedeutung im regionalen und sozio-ökonomischen Kontext des Landes u. a. auch den Herausforderungen für Slowenisch im mehrsprachigen Europa und in einer globalisierten Arbeitswelt nach.

With the assumption of the EU Presidency on 1 July 2021, Slovenia is now entering the third and final round of the trinational presidency after Germany and Portugal. Following the motto "Together. Making Europe strong again." the trio EU Presidency began with Germany in the second half of 2020. Slovenia is continuing this idea with the slogan "Together. Resilient. Europe." and at the same time rounds off the Trinational Presidency of the Council of the EU.
On the occasion of Slovenia's current EU Presidency, the conference series will now conclude by examining the EU country Slovenia in its specificity and as a cosmopolitan well-educated and economically stable member of the European Union and with a look at multilingualism and its significance in the regional and socio-economic context of the country, will also explore, among other topics, the challenges for the Slovenian language in a multilingual Europe and in a globalized world of work.

Slovenija je 1. julija 2021 po Nemčiji in Portugalski kot zadnja od tria držav prevzela predsedovanje Svetu EU. Z geslom »Skupaj. Naredimo Evropo zopet močno.« je Nemčija začela predsedovanje tria Svetu EU v drugi polovici leta 2020. Slovenija nadaljuje to idejo z geslom »Skupaj. Odporna. Evropa.« in s tem zaokrožuje trinacionalno predsedovanje Svetu EU.
Ob trenutnem predsedovanju Slovenije Svetu EU serija konferenc osvetljuje Slovenijo z njenimi posebnostmi kot svetovljansko, izobraženo in gospodarsko stabilno članico Evropske unije. Konference se osredotočajo na večjezičnost in njen pomen v regionalnem in socialno-ekonomskem kontekstu države, med drugim tudi izzive za slovenščino v večjezični Evropi in globaliziranem svetu dela.
