Watercolor is not the easiest medium to master, but it produces the greatest luminosity. There are many ways to paint in watercolor and I will show my way of approaching it. To my understanding, filling your painting with big and interesting shapes is the critical ingredient, apart from controlling water, tonal quality and color mixing. The journey to learn this wonderful skills is filled with excitement, a bit of frustration, little moments of triumphs and several moments of zen like contentment. Somewhat, similar to...life?

Happy journey and painting
