Dealing with discrimination (audism) from Avis/Budget car rental as a Deaf person

Let's be realistic. We, Deaf, face this on a daily basis and it is quite frustrating when one does not want to accommodate us.

Communication is so important for us so we can know what's going on around us. With that being said, Stacey had reached out to me with her frustrations with her experience of getting a car rental. The customer service had refused to write or find a way to communicate with her, they just proceed to do everything without letting her know what's going on.

Since we aim to spread awareness and share our experiences, I wanted to share Stacey's experience with Avis Car Rental/ Budget Car Rental and how they had made her felt inadequate.

Please share and let all of us raise awareness on how important it is for us to have accessibility and accommodation!
