Leatherman Rebar Unboxing & Table Top Review

Unboxing and Reviewing the Leatherman Rebar Multi Tool, one of Leathermans medium duty multi-tools. it's styled very similar to the Super Tool 300 except in a smaller form factor similar to the Surge VS Wave tools. We’ll take a look at what it does well and where I see this fitting into your tool lineup.

The Leatherman Rebar is it's very well executed for what it is, I feel the price is one of it's strengths, you get all of the functionality of a wave (except scissors) and a lighter package (6.3 OZ) which makes it a great backup tool or tool for your hiking pack or tool box. Final takeaway is while this is a great tool that has a place in your gear lineup, I don't think it replaces your EDC tool, the fact doesn't have a pocket clip and none of the tools are accessible from the outside means this tool while very capable, fits the "just in case I need it" category, and Leatherman knows that which is why it's priced $30 less than the wave +.
