I think the Leatherman Wave Plus is an all around winner for everything from everyday carry, rugged outdoor use, or on the jobsite where you just need a handy yet versatile tool at your side to make quick work of those little jobs. It’s tough and rugged with a nice weight to it, the build quality is superb with a smooth but tight finish just like you have come to expect from all leatherman products.

We also investigate further if this is the right multi tool for you and what other options leatherman has to offer such as the larger brother Surge, the Charge TTI made with higher grade alloyus, and special purpose tools such as the Leatherman signal that offer less tools but some special options for the outdoors man with it’s knife sharpener, and flint rod for fire starting.
