After 18 months children can be exposed to Screen time but with caregivers and family because

Early age is the developmental age of cognition, speech, language and behaviour.
Screen time disrupt all these qualities.
Screen time is the one-way transmission with no way to communicate or socialize which causes a lack of the development of speech and language.

Caregivers have to give all sensory input with sound, touch, and visualization. Children should not be totally into the screen world. Caregivers should Interpret the screen world to make it easy and create connectivity between children and them.
