EPEVER - EPSOLAR XTRA N MPPT Charge Controllers: 1-Introduction

In this video, some basic features of XTRA-N MPPT charge controllers are introduced.
XTRA is an advanced MPPT charge controller, Designed for off-grid solar projects. It delivers the maximum available energy to the batteries, by tracking the maximum power point of the PV array.
Different types of batteries are supported with this controller, including lithium-ion batteries.
XTRA, ensures the most efficient and reliable charge, for the batteries.
It limits the input power and input current. And compensate for the ambient temperature. And this improves the battery’s life and the system’s reliability
XTRA can be used with 12 /24 /36 and 48 volts system and provides up to 40 amperes, charging and discharging current.
To support different applications, XTRA comes with 10 different models, based on the current and voltage of the system.
Different display modules, are available for different applications.
XTRA is also an online monitoring device for the off-grid solar system.
With the use of LCD display or LED indicators, a wide range of parameters are available,
Including PV arrays, Battery and DC load’s precise information.
Buttons will also make it easy to navigate through the menu and manage basic configurations of the system.
Under the protective cover, are the terminals. First two, are PV positive and negative terminals. Middle two, are for the batteries. And the last two, are for the DC load.

In systems, which experience temperature variations during the year, the remote battery temperature sensor, makes it easy to adapt the charging status, to the battery temperature.
Voltage drop problem in long wiring distances is solved, with using the remote battery voltage sensor. Isolated RS 4 85 port, enables to plug a variety of remote monitoring devices, Such as your smartphone, laptop, or MT 50 via cable.
You can also plug the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth module, to get connected with your device!
