2022 Acura NSX Type S Trim Levels and Standard Features Explained: A two-seat mid-engine coupe with a single Type S trim level is the Acura NSX from 2022. A turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine and three electric motors work together to provide power. Together, the combination generates 492 lb-ft of torque and 600 horsepower. Only the rear wheels are powered by the V6, while the front wheels are each powered by an electric motor. Similar to a conventional hybrid, a third electric motor pairs with the V6 engine to add torque at low speeds and enable smooth engine starts.
