OPENTX FIRMWARE UPDATE

OPENTX FIRMWARE UPDATE – That’s right, I’ve updated my transmitter with OpenTx firmware. In today’s video, I’m going to show you how you can update your transmitter with OpenTX firmware in 7 simple steps! I demonstrate just how to do it with both an official release version of OpenTX firmware as well as an experimental “nightly build” version (since at the time of this video being posted that’s the only type version which was available that supported the T16—although the official release should come out in the near future). The process is the same for both, just the links which you access the OpenTX Companion, SD card Contents, and firmware are different. I’ve also included an easy-to-follow step-by-step graphical “OpenTX Firmware Update Checklist” with necessary site links for you to download in the video description below. Finally, after I update the transmitter with the OpenTX firmware, I take it out on a short flight to demonstrate how well it works!
