ITV News Organized Stalking In The UK

Here is the terrifying story of a woman from Liverpool who's life is in ruins after being stalked by a gang. She is speaking out to raise awareness that stalkers don't always work alone.

An estimated 199,000 people were a victim of stalking in the North West, according to the Crime Survey of 2017/ 2018.

Home Office figures from the same period show that police forces across the region recorded just 985 stalking crimes.

Campaigners say that authorities and wider society are in danger of dismissing incidents of stalking as "harmless flattery."
