#7 - Glue Gun Tree with DMB Firedancer / Glue Gun Art / Mixed Media Art

This week I thought I'd change thins up and share how I make my best seller... a glue gun tree with a dave matthews band firedancer nestled against the tree.

Quick story on it's beginning: Las summer I was making a tree for myself and the fiber installer saw it before the paint and asked if I sold them. I said no. But then I thought about it for a week and decided why not? And that, my friends, is how SissyOG Creations began. And yes, I made sure the installer got a tree since they were my encouragement to open up shop.

Then later I wanted to add something to the tree but couldn't figure out what... and then the firedancer popped into my head. Why? I have absolutely no clue. 🤷‍♀️ But she fits nicely in the tree and I usually leave her a shade lighter in the tree so that she's easy to spot, but doesn't stand out too much and take away from the tree.

From beginning to end, the project takes 2 and a half days to complete because I let every layer cool/dry completely before I move onto the next.
I sell them on my Etsy store on an 11x14 canvas, but do make custom sizes and colors if you're interested.
