RV Boondocking Recipe - Our Favorite Hot & Hearty Breakfast

We combine healthy ingredients to make our favorite RV breakfast recipe. Since it's stove-top or microwave-able, it's the perfect way to start your day whether you're dry camping or hooked up.

INGREDIENTS:
60g Oats
15g Flax
28g All-Bran
40g Oat Bran (often found in the bulk foods section)
475g Almond Milk (or use any type of milk desired)
21g Honey (or substitute one ripe banana, sliced. Mmmmmm)

STOVE-TOP:
Combine all ingredients except the honey into a medium-size pot/saucepan and stir together. Add honey. Heat on low-to-medium setting, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes, or until thickened to desired consistency. Divide into two bowls. Mix in cinnamon to taste. Enjoy!

MICROWAVE:
Combine all ingredients except the honey into a microwave-safe bowl and stir together. Add honey. Microwave on high for 6 minutes (based on our 1,500-watt oven. Adjust as needed). Divide into two bowls (or reduce clean-up and save water by having one person eat right out of the mixing bowl). Mix in cinnamon to taste. Enjoy!
